I'm Iria!

I’m a Product Designer (UX/UI) with frontend development experience, based in Vigo, Spain. I take a user-centred approach to my work, prioritising accessibility and always aiming for simplicity in everything I create. What excites me the most is building from scratch—turning ideas into reality and watching them come to life on screen.

One of my biggest strengths is flexibility. I adapt to different roles, teams, and projects based on what each situation needs. When speed is key, I move fast to iterate and test ideas. When precision matters, I focus on the details to ensure a solid and well-thought-out outcome.

I believe understanding code makes me a better designer, so I’m always exploring new tools and technologies. My current stack includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Right now, I’m expanding my skills with frameworks like React, Astro, and Vue, while also deepening my knowledge of accessibility.

• Focusing on learning as much as I can about web accessibility to create more inclusive digital experiences.
• Contributing to open-source projects as a Product Designer and Frontend Developer.
• Working with the founding team of an edtech startup to shape their mobile app concept.

Outside of work

If I’m not designing or coding, I enjoy rock climbing, watching Netflix, travelling and visiting nice cafés.
